HUNGARIAN DINNER – Friday, July 19
The 2019 Hungary Missions team is hosting a dinner on Friday, July 19 to support the missions trip to Word of Life Hungary. It will be a fun time for the whole family, featuring jazz music performed by some of our very own talented musicians, Hungarian food, and a silent auction. Tickets will be available for purchase before and after the worship service on the following Sundays – 6/30, 7/7, & 7/14. Please note space is limited and we expect it to be a sellout. Tickets are $5/person or $15/family (the ticket cost is to pay for the food for the dinner). The silent auction will open at 5:30 pm and close at 8:15 pm. Dinner will be served at 6:30 pm. Come join in the fun and support the WOL Hungary mission team!
DONATIONS NEEDED FOR SILENT AUCTION
The 2019 WOL Hungary mission team is in need of items for the Silent Auction on July 19. Ideas for donations include:
- Gift cards (to restaurants, movie theaters, grocery stores, home improvement stores, etc.);
- Tickets to concerts, sporting events, musicals, theater events;
- Vacation time shares;
- Services (e.g., lawn care, babysitting, cleaning, car repair, etc);
- New or unused home decor, and jewelry.
- Or you can be creative and put together a package using your talents:
- Sewing skills? (e.g., you could offer to hem or mend a specific number of clothing items);
- Culinary skills? (e.g., you could offer to cook a special dinner for 8);
- Creative with party ideas? (e.g., you could design and put together all the makings for a children’s birthday party).
All proceeds from the Silent Auction will go towards the WOL Hungary mission trip and missions at RBC. We appreciate your generosity in making this a success!
