Redeemer’s Young Adult Ministry Launch Update

Our second mid-week launch meeting takes place on Wednesday 5/1/19, 7pm in Room 214 (“The Upper Room”), upstairs next to the sound booth. We’re off the launch pad and picking up speed!

THEN, our first Sunday morning yABF meeting is on 5/5/19, 9:15am, also in the UR. That same day, we’ll have a young adults dedication at the close of the worship service, followed by a church-wide reception in the Fellowship Hall (noonish). Plan to stay for that so we can all share and learn about what God is doing with Redeemer’s young adults!”

We look forward to seeing everyone there! By all means, feel free to invite any other young adults among your friends and family who you think would be interested in attending.

Get to Know Will and Rachael Miller

A native Texan, Will was born in Corpus Christi, grew up in Houston, and has lived in Dallas since 2015. He came to faith at the age of 21 and has since then served in various ministry contexts. Currently, Will works fulltime at Dallas Theological Seminary where he helps manage many of the seminary’s extension sites. He studied music education at the University of Houston (saxophones), possesses a bachelor’s from the College of Biblical Studies-Houston, a master’s (MACE) from DTS, and anticipates starting doctoral studies (DEdMin), focusing on higher education leadership and young adult ministry. In 2010, Will married the love of his life, Rachael McGowan. Rachael was born in Houston, raised in a Christian family (as a PK), and was home schooled until high school, where she excelled as a competitive gymnast and cheerleader. She later studied counseling at Temple College. Rachael has also served in various ministry contexts including Christian education, as a ladies Bible study leader, and was recently a guest speaker at a ladies luncheon. Together, Will and Rachael’s mutual ministry passion is to encourage and assist young adults to live for Christ. In 2018, they volunteered to help form RBC’s young adult ministry.
